Eternal Life
The human mind is curious, inquisitive and inclined to gathering the typical information. When was born, married, has died? When there was this or that historical event and what has served it as the reason? The key questions that invariable torment a western person’s mind - when and how? One of these eternal questions is - when will come a doomsday and how it will occur? Now it is considered, that collisions with asteroids or solar cataclysms are most dangerous for the Earth.
The age of the Sun is estimated by the majority of astrophysicists approximately in 4.59 billion years. It is concerned to average or even to small sized stars - such stars exist longer, than their larger and quickly burning out sisters. Till now the Sun has managed to spend less than half of hydrogen available in it: from a share in 70.6 percent from initial weight of solar substance it remained 36.3. During thermonuclear reactions hydrogen inside of the Sun turns to helium. By estimations of scientists, at the initial stage of existence of the Sun its luminosity made only 70 percent of that it radiates today, and in the next 6.5 billion years luminosity of the star will be only growing.
Certainly, mankind as a whole as each person separately, hopes for an eternal life. The moment of transformation of the Sun into the red giant imposes the certain restrictions on this dream: similar accident to mankind if will manage to be gone through, only outside our cradle.
But pertinently here to remind, that one of the largest physicists of the present Stephen Hawking for a long time approves: the moment when the only way to survive for mankind will be colonization of other planets, already has almost come. The intraterrestrial reasons will make this cradle impossible for dwelling much earlier, than something bad happens with the Sun …
